Terms of service

Effective Date: 01.01.2020.

These Terms & Conditions apply exclusively to purchases made by consumers via the online shop of Princess Jewellery s.r.o., IČO: 26488752, with registered office at Václavské náměstí 793/36, Nové Město, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 85423.

1. Scope and General Provisions

  1. The online shop of Princess Jewellery s.r.o. is intended exclusively for consumers.

  2. The Terms & Conditions valid at the time of contract conclusion apply. Deviations are only valid if confirmed by us in writing.

2. Contract Conclusion

  1. By clicking “Purchase now,” you submit a binding order. A confirmation email is sent immediately but does not constitute contract acceptance.

  2. We accept your order either by confirming via email or by dispatching the goods within 3 working days. We reserve the right to reject any order.

  3. Orders are accepted only in household quantities.

  4. Prior to completing the order, all details are shown for final review and correction.

  5. The contract, including these terms, is stored and sent to you by email after order placement.

  6. Product weights (especially gemstones) are approximate and may vary.

3. Prices and Payment Terms

  1. Prices shown at the time of order include applicable VAT.

  2. Special promotions are valid only for the duration and scope of the offer.

  3. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout.

  4. Payment is accepted by credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer (CZ/EU customers). Available methods are shown during the checkout process.

  5. Credit cards are charged immediately.

  6. Offsetting and withholding are only permitted in legally recognized cases.

4. Delivery

  1. We deliver worldwide. Billing and delivery address must be in the same country.

  2. Delivery timelines are shown during checkout and begin the next working day after order receipt.

  3. Deliveries are subject to availability.

  4. If a delivery fails due to customer reasons, you are responsible for repeat shipping costs.

5. Retention of Title

  1. Goods remain our property until full payment is received.

  2. Until transfer of ownership, goods must be handled with care.

  3. You may not pledge or assign goods before ownership transfer. Notify us of any third-party claims.

  4. If you return goods from a qualifying order (e.g., below minimum value for a free gift), bonus items must be returned or will be invoiced.

6. Legal Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply to all purchases. You are entitled to repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Czech consumer protection laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

  1. We are liable for intentional or gross negligence without limitation.

  2. For minor negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations and only up to foreseeable, typical damages.

  3. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss unless caused by injury to life, health, or under mandatory product liability.

  4. This also applies to the liability of employees or agents.

8. Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers Only)

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 15 days without giving a reason.

You must send the withdrawal notice within the 15-day period. Goods must be returned within 15 days of withdrawal notice.

Exceptions:

  • Custom-made, engraved, or resized items are non-returnable under § 1837 of the Czech Civil Code.

  • Sale items are returnable, unless customized.

Refunds:

We will refund the purchase price using your original payment method, within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods or proof of shipment.

Shipping costs are refunded up to the cost of standard delivery. You bear return shipping costs.

Loss in value due to handling beyond necessary inspection may be deducted.

9. Exchange Policy

Customers may request a product exchange within 30 calendar days from receipt. This applies to both EU and non-EU customers.

Conditions:

  • Items must be unworn, undamaged, and returned with original packaging.

  • Shipping costs for exchanges are borne by the customer, unless the item was incorrect or defective.

  • Custom-made or engraved items are not eligible for exchange.

10. Non-EU Customers – Additional Provisions

  1. Restocking fees apply to returns from non-EU customers:

    • 390 CZK for items under 2,699 CZK

    • 15% of the product price for items above 2,700 CZK

  2. Sale items for non-EU customers are considered final sale and are non-returnable, unless defective.

11. Applicable Law

Czech law applies with the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. This does not affect your mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

12. Written Form

Changes to the contract require written agreement. This also applies to waiving this clause.

13. Severability Clause

If any part of these terms is invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Invalid clauses will be replaced by valid ones with the same commercial effect.

14. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the consumer may contact:
